Calculate the standard emf of the following cell at 25°C.
Sn(s) | Sn2+(aq) || Cu2+(aq) | Cu(s)
________ v
Standard emf?
It's just the emf of the reduction side - emf of the oxidation side.
For the cell above Sn is oxidised and Cu2+ is reduced, so go look up the values on your standard potential tables.
