my first problem is;

first find the slope. use m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1). this gives us 4-0/1-0 which = 4/1 or a slope of 4.





now put it in point- slope form. y-y1=m(x-x1) giving y-4=4(x-1).





next distribute the 4 giving y-4=4x-4. now subtract y from both sides giving -4=4x-y-4.





finally, add 4 to each side giving 4x-y=0.





A=4, B=-1 and C=0
