Let Z be a standard normal random variable. Use the calculator provided to determine the value of c such that: P(c%26lt;Z%26lt;0.84)=0.7721 (the %26lt; should be underlined).

I came up with 1-P(Z%26lt;0.84) = 1-0.79954581=0.20045419

0.2004-0.7721-0.571644

c=Z 0.571644 = 0.1807039

Answer = 0.1807039

Please verify answer. I thought it was the other way around but the calculator kept stating undefined.

But you didn't provide the calculator.

What model is it?
Reply:On my TI-84 I calculated that c should be

-1.91973.

You can use the Normalcdf function to verify this Normalcdf(-1.91973,0.84) = .7721
