Math Standard form for a linear equation..........?

The standard form for a linear equation is ________.

(a) y=mx+b

(b) Ax+By=C

(c) y=x

(d) x + y = 0

Math Standard form for a linear equation..........?
Ooh, sorry, buddy. it's actually (b). That's standard form, slope intercept form is something else.
Reply:The standard form is b).

a) is NOT standard form. That is "slope-intercept" form.
Reply:b is the standard form of a linear equation.
Reply:depends on the number of unknown variables.

1 variable:- Ax+B=0

2 variables:- Ax+By+C=0

however it is closest to option (b).
Reply:a
Reply:(a) is the standard "slope-intercept form" of a line.
