Which scientists would have the LEAST use for a standard thermometer in their research?

a) astronomers

b) meteorologists

c) geologists

d) oceanographers

Which scientists would have the LEAST use for a standard thermometer in their research?
I would go with A astronomers since they are observing places too far away for a thermometer to reach.
Reply:Proctologists!
Reply:Astronomers need to make sure their equipment is at the proper temperature or they won't get good data.

Geologists don't work with temperature sensitive materials or equipment so of the fields on the list they are the least dependent on thermometer.
Reply:I would assume an astronomer because their work is with the stars. If they were to measure the temperature of that, they definately would not use a standard thermometer.
Reply:i'd say astronomers...
