Ax + By = C stand form (equation help please)?

w/e answer you get for Ax + By = C you have to

multiply the answer by the denominator if there is a fraction

multiply to make any decimals go away in the answer

and multiply the entire answer by -1 if the x is negative

now when you multiply the answer by -1 to make x positive, is that rule ONLY for Standard Form (ax+by=c) or is that a rule for ALL linear equations???????

Ax + By = C stand form (equation help please)?
It's only for standard form. In slope-intercept, sometimes the x's will be and SHOULD BE negative.
Reply:The multiplying part is only for standard form, because in the other equations you might want to have a negative X to make the equation work.

Thanks for letting me help
