What is y=-11x-4 in standard form?

The formula for standard for is Ax+By=C

What is y=-11x-4 in standard form?
11x + y = -4.

what's the problem?

A and B are symbols for numbers, and if you move a term from a part to another of the = , you have to change the sign (- or +)

sorry for the english
Reply:For standard form the number in front of the x is A, so in this case 11. The number in front of the y is B, so in this case 1. You have to add the 11x to both sides.

11x+y=-4
Reply:44
Reply:y=(-11)x-4

y+4=(-11)x-4+4

y+4=(-11)x

y-y+4=(-11)x-y

4=(-11)x-y

-(4=(-11)x-y)

(-4)=11x+y
