At standard temp. a has a volume of 296 mL. the temp is then increased to 134°C and the pressure is held...?

constant . what is the new volume? answer in units of mL.

Charle's Law. T and V are directly proportional at constant pressure. (T increase = V increase).

(Temp. MUST be in Kelvin).

Standard temp = 273K.

New temp. = 134°C + 273K = 407K.

Using Proportion we have...

(407K / 273K) x 296mL = 441.3mL.
