How do you put the equation 2y=2-x into standard form of a line equation, y=mx + c?

2y=-x+2

y=(-1/2)x+1

How do you put the equation 2y=2-x into standard form of a line equation, y=mx + c?
y=-x/2+1

or where m=1 (or -1) and c =1 (or -1)

y=x/2-1
Reply:2y = 2 - x

You want to get the y by itself

2y/2 = (2-x)/2

y = (2-x)/2

Now let's get it into y = mx + b

y = 1 - 1/2 x

y = -1/2 x + 1

So, the slope or gradient is -1/2
Reply:you divide the whole equation by 2

y = -x/2 + 1
